Since its inception, Analog has grown by leaps and bounds to achieve what we are setting out to do. Along the way, we have made great strides and are striving to hit key development targets on the horizon.
On that note, let’s take a look at the current Analog roadmap:
Seed financing efforts kick off
Analog focuses on building a substantial runway and forging key partnerships.
Proof of Concept (PoC) goes live
A sandboxed environment is unveiled to showcase the potential of Analog. Users/DApp developers can leverage it to query ticks (data) from multiple blockchains with an intuitive Timegraph API.
Initial integration with Ethereum and Polygon also undergoes testing, while the PoC versions of the Timechain Explorer and the platform’s Query Marketplace, Analog Watch undergoes initial development.
Further software development
P2P Messaging Bootstrap for Chronicle Workers (off-chain modules) undergoes development. Meanwhile, Chronicle Worker Frost Delek Algorithm and Embedded Connector implementation is completed.
Universal Wallet internal release
A universal wallet is unveiled that users could use to interact with the Analog Network ecosystem through storage, sending, and receiving assets in a cross-chain environment.
Note: This project has been deprioritized for now.
EVM Chain Connector internal release
The EVM Chain Connector is released internally. This is a standard toolkit (SDK) for integrating the Analog Network with EVM-based chains. Users can use the EVM Connector to connect to EVM-based chains and fetch transactions from those chains in an Analog Network-compliant manner.
Key components undergo further development
Analog Watch
Analog Watch (Query Marketplace) is a developer-facing product that makes it easy for developers to query any ticks (data) they desire via an intuitive and easy-to-use interface.
Timegraph SDK
The Timegraph SDK is a universal endpoint for accessing any blockchain data, by DApp developers/users.
Timechain API
Timechain API is a suite of crypto utilities that users, node operators, and dApp developers can leverage to interact with the Timechain.
Threshold signature scheme (TSS) Optimization
This is a secure and scalable optimization framework for multi-party computation in the Analog Network where key generation and key signing processes are distributed across multiple validators.
Storage Optimization
These are collective frameworks, technologies, and processes that allow the efficient use of Timechain’s storage infrastructure and resources.
Tokenomics
This is Analog Network’s cryptocurrency economy that sets out the incentives for various stakeholders and the utility of the $ANLOG tokens, including token allocations, staking, vesting schedules, and more.
Timechain Testnet internal release
This is the first iteration of the Timechain instance that the internal team and Analog partners can use to test the platform’s capabilities, such as querying ticks (data) from external chains. The key components of note here are:
Timechain
Timechain is an immutable ledger that will initially be powered by delegated Proof-of-Stake (DPoS) consensus mechanism and, later, Proof-of-Time (PoT) protocol.
Node Tooling
Node tooling is a set of developer tools to interact with the Analog network. This includes the Timegraph CLI and the Timechain Client SDK which is a software suite that enables validators, i.e., time nodes, to propose and confirm transactions to the Timechain.
Timegraph SDK
Analog Watch
Timechain Testnet public release
This is the second iteration of the Timechain instance. Publicly accessible, it allows users/DApp developers to test new features, including getting familiar with running the time nodes and understanding how Analog Watch works.
Audits and patches
This is an ongoing process that serves to improve the network performance
Additional features planned
Arbitrary Smart Contract Calls (GMP Phase 1)
This is a low-level message-passing SDK that allows users/applications to execute arbitrary smart contract functions only on the connected destination chains. Arbitrary Smart Contract Calls(ASCCs) is a precursor to the General Message Passing (GMP) protocol. GMP also allows users/applications to execute arbitrary functions on both the source and destination chains via the deployed Gateway Smart Contracts on the connected chains.
Timechain Explorer
Timechain Explorer is a front-end application that draws various data from the Timechain and arranges it for users in a searchable format.
This roadmap will be updated from time to time to reflect the project’s ongoing development.
In a market where cross-chain technology is constantly evolving, Analog Automation is designed to solve the complexities of automated smart contract execution across multiple blockchains. This trust-minimized solution brings seamless, secure, and reliable automation to developers and users alike.

Read moreSince the initial proposal that came with Analog Timepaper in 2022, our team has made significant improvements to the Analog tech stack. These updates were discussed internally and incorporated into the source code. Unfortunately, due to a backlog, we haven’t yet shared these updates with you.
